Notes: Milano Film Festival avrà la sua prossima edizionein settembre 2009 e dura 10 giorni. La scorsa 13° edizione ha avuto numeri e successi decisamente importanti:

- superate le 100.000 presenze;
- 3.096 film iscritti;
- 375 film proiettati per un totale di 418 ore di proiezione in lingua originale sottotitolati in italiano;
- 113 paesi partecipanti;
- 350 registi ed ospiti provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Durante i mesi di luglio ed agosto lo staff si avvale della collaborazione di una sessantina di sottotitolatori laureandi di differenti scuole di lingue e traduzione.

L'azienda si occupa di televideo, ma soprattutto di sottotitolaggio. Lavora principalmente con TV -terrestri e satellitari- e DVD. Lavora solo su digitale, mai con pellicole (non si occupa quindi né di stampa, né di proiezione di sottotitoli). Crea sottotitoli in italiano, in lingua straniera (le principali lingue europee), e in italiano per non udenti.

L'azienda, tra le altre cose si occupa del sottotitolaggio del David Letterman Show: Il « DLS » è un talk show americano, della durata di un'ora, che va in onda dal lunedì al venerdì alle 23.30 di New York (le 5.30 in Italia). Ogni giorno la Colby si occupa dell'edizione italiana del programma, che viene mandato in onda da RaiSat Extra (in versione originale sottotitolata) tutti i giorni, dal martedì al sabato, alle 22.00.

Il processo di edizione del DLS è particolare proprio a causa dei tempi ristretti (il programma va in onda in Italia dopo neanche 24 ore dalla diretta americana), e richiede uno staff apposito e modalità leggermente diverse da un normale processo di edizione (e.g. la traduzione e i sottotitoli vengono fatti da due persone diverse).
